They were so excited they caught a grasshopper, they tried to go for the frog but I wouldn't let them especially cause the first 2 kids fell into the swampy mud.
Every year we try and take Braxton to a derby as a request for his birthday. This year we were in Nebrask and most of the derbies are over for the year except for a small one in Maxwell, NE. Nothing like saying this area is a little small and white trash they dug up behind the football field and turned it into a mud place then put up cement barriers and we sat on the grass. The kids loved every minute of it. We were able to sit really close and they wandered around the grass and mud. They really wanted to go into the mud and catch a frog, but I put a stop to that. So, they settled on a grasshopper. They kept showing it to Marshall and putting it next to him and he would laugh so hard. Katie also loved it this year because her Daddy loves her and borrowed a pair or ear muffs from his shop. You couldn't hear a thing with those things on, this is the first year that she has loved it. We tried these on Marshall and he thought they were the best thing ever and just kept laughing. I have the best kids ever, they are so much fun to be around.

Looks like SO much FUN!!! I'm glad Braxton is loving school! :) Is he feeling better now? We got Katie's card so be expecting a card in the next little while! We miss you! Brooklyn always asks to go play at Katie's house.... can't she just come over already?! Love You! Cute blog posts... I love to see what you are up to!
He is so funny about school, already gave a girl his phone number. Isn't he too young for that. He does seem to be feeling better still really tired. We are waiting for 1 test result they lost. Miss you guys too, the kids just don't understand. I think Marshall found a replacement riding buddy. He just has to get up the courage to sit on him, last week at church je just kept hugging him. Making friends before he takes his big move :) So funny reminds me of the good old times!!
