What a day is all I can say!!!
We were so lucky to have so many people come to town for this occasion, Braxton's Baptism.  Papa and Grandma Myra, Great Grandma Nef, Grandma Karen, Great Granny Massey, and we were even lucky enough to be surprised by Uncle Jeremy and Matt, and also Oliver to come see us.  They drove all through the night, stayed for a couple hours, and drove all the way back.  They drove at least double the hours they were able to stay.  The day started off great.  Wes had gotten off work, we were making a huge breakfast (Granny Massey teaching me how to make biscuits and gravy), we had plans to go to family day at Railfest, take the kids to Cody Park to see the trains and ride the rides, then we were all going to go out to dinner.  After that we were going to get ready for Braxton's baptism and head over to the church for pictures and finish a few things up.  After the baptism we were going to go see Wes' work and all of the heritage fleet trains, and then last go to the fireworks.  As you can tell What a day!!
But instead, I was stuck in a bed for 6 hours hooked up to monitors at 28 weeks pregnant.  I had been having contractions on and off this week but they now turned into every 2 minutes and nothing stopped them.  I tried all of the tricks, lay on the left side drink a huge glass of water, change positions, yep tried them all and every 2 minutes they came.  So, with that many "mothers" in the house off to the hospital I went.  I figured it would just be an in and out thing, just give me some medicine stop the contractions and let me go.  But after 2 doses of medicine and every trick in the book they still didn't stop.  Around 3:30 (baptism is at 6) Wes informed me that we weren't getting out, I wasn't going to make it to the baptism and we weren't postponing it.  Well as most of you know I am a bit stubborn and usually get my way :) especially around Wes!!  So after another shot and 1.5 hours later we were free.  I had excaped the contractions had slowed down enough they let me go.  I didn't hesitate, we basically ran out the door before they changed their mind.  We had just enough time to get dressed get the kids "cute" and get to the church.  I wish we could have gotten more pictures, I wish we could have actually spent the day with our family that came so far away, but had to do what is best for our baby (who is now obedient and 8 weeks to go).  Braxton was baptized by his dad, Wes, and confirmed by his Papa (my dad).  All Braxton kept saying was I am a little scared.  The baptism couldn't have gone more perfect, and Braxton and his daddy  looked perfect in their all white clothing.  I love these boys and so greatful for all of my family.  Thanks for all of you that made this day special.

Happy 8th Birthday!!

Braxton I think had one of the best birthday's. He was able to have 1 of 2 grandpas here, 2 of 2 grandmas here and 2 of 3 living great-grandmas here.  I don't know how many other kids are this lucky to have so many people travel for an 8 year olds birthday.  My kids love birthday and get so excited for them.  Marshall right now is the one that is the most excited.  Any time we make a cake he asks if we are making a Happy Birthday Cake and we have to sing Happy Birthday at least 3 times.  After that the rest of us are getting tired, so the matches magically disappear. I am glad that he had a great birthday and we were able to do so much with him on his day off from school.  Braxton!!

Railfest 2012

Marshall's favorite part, I think we rode this at least 5 times in one day.

I love the look on Marshall's face in these last 4 pictures.  I love how the faster the ride goes the bigger his smile gets.  He is not afraid of rides, and is obsessed with Disneyland.

While our family was in town we were able to go to some of the Railfest activities.  Even though last year was tiring on the kids, we took the bus tour again.  It was fun to let the our family see where Wes work and fun seeing Marshall look at all of the trains.  Katie always gets so excited when she sees "The Katy" come to town.  Marshall's favorite thing to do was ride the miniture train, he loved it, and I lost track of how many times we rode it.
