O Christmas Tree

In our tiny apartment we found room for our Christmas Tree. The the kids were so excited to decorate it and Marshall was so excited for new toys and the ornaments kept getting higher. I felt like I was on the forgotten Carols when she puts 2 ornaments on the tree right next to each other. My kids kept putting them on the same branch and I kept moving them and telling them it is a really big tree and you don't have to put them together so close. I didn't notice Marshall until I was putting pictures on here that his diaper is falling off, sorry pg-13 rated and I didn't edit it.

Thanksgiving Prep

My kids decided they needed to help cook Thanksgiving dinner, which that was lots of fun since I had everything cooking at once. Marshall especially loved to taste everything. After cooking the kids decided to play in Katie's room. They made a bed for Marshall in the laundry basket and made him pretend dinner. He loved every moment of it. I love watching them play!!

Some of you have asked why I haven't posted in quite some time, the answer is a Quiet Book. A best friend and I have gotten our kids together almost every day and let them play together. You would think that after about 4 weeks of playing together everyday and the days our husbands have off we still plan stuff together we would all get tired of each other. Nope, the kids ask everyday when we get to see the Songsters. I started a quiet book in Idaho and have convinced my friend she wanted to make one. Together we have made great progress on our books and teaching and helping each other. I want to share an experience we had together while they were over playing. Katie loves any type of nuts (she always sat with my dad and watched crappy shows while eating cashews), this day she grabbed the cashews and started eating them. Her friend asked if she could try some, which I asked her mom if she was allergic and she wasn't. About an hour after eating them Jodee went to pick up the boys from school and the 5 younger kids stayed with me. Brooklyn started saying her stomach hurt and that she was going to throw up, I got her a bucket and kept checking on her. Later she threw up everywhere, so I put her in the bath and she still looked fine. I checked her mouth and tounge no swelling and no rash anywhere on her body. Jodee had gotten back and given her pepto thinking maybe she caught the bug going around. Brooklyn went to lay down and woke up coughing and rubbing her belly. We again checked for a rash, which was now everywhere and checked for swelling, which was really bad. By the time Jodee got to the hospital Brookly was having a hard time breathing. After 5 hours in the ER and lots of medication they brought her home. She didn't look the pale color but a green color. After this accident we are still best friends and have realized how close it came. I am very greatful for life and my career as a nurse. These symptoms were not obvious and glad that I really did know what to check for.

Anyways, after that long story here is a brief glance at a couple of my favorite pages. I am now working on page #21 and loving all of it. This has been a little harder to work on when you live in the middle of nowhere and they don't have much. In fact, if anyone sees the cheap play coins they want to pick up and send me I would love you forever and pay back. Thanks to my mom we have been able to get lots of gray and tan. I will post more pages later, but I have to get back to sewing. (Which my friends at the clinic would be very proud that I not only know how to put on a button, but can actually sew, remember that Moser how much you made fun of me :) Miss you guys!!

I just wanted to put these adorable pictures on of Marshall. We got in trouble by the doctor the other day about how much weight he hasn't gained and how small he is. He is now below the 10% where as before he was in the 25%. The doctor said we either need to supplement with healthy shakes or increase his calories ; we chose the latter. Marshall is lovinf every minute of it. I am not sure that it is working or just going through lots and lots of diapers, yesterday he pooped 5 times and normally he poops once a day. But loved the look on his face.
