Our little Slugger

love his hair in this one, I think he has wings.
Marshall's adorable new smile saying "cheese"
And if it is at all possible, his "cheese" just got a little bigger.

Braxton had another baseball game this week and the two younger ones love it because they get to get out and run around.  Today Marshall saw Braxton and Katie wearing hats and decided to be big like them and wear one.  He was so proud of it and had to show it off.  This kid has so much personality (and it does go both ways, one moment we are extremely happy, and then the next throwing a huge fit.)  Today his daddy decided he didn't need a nap so he fell asleep on the 2 minute drive to the Rec center.  He was not a hhappy camper when we woke him up, but I still got some cute pictures of him, just not smiling very much.  Katie has just barely been excited to play ball and we even found her a mit at a garage sale.  Just a few random pictures...thought they were so cute and had to share them.

Shooting

For Wes' birthday he bought a couple guns and he still hasn't been out to try them, so we took the kids and he made sure they all worked.  He was hoping that if he shot the really loud ones Marshall would be a little scared of guns, nope only more excited.  He just kept saying "more loud please".  I love the look on Marshall's face,  yes in all of these he is excited.  He is not one to show how excited he is, but does know how to show his angry and upset emotion.  I also loved when Katie was shooting, she kept trying to aim so hard and even had daddy help her but she just couldn't hold the bun still and steady.  Finally Wes said "sweety, you will do better when you get your glasses.  Then you will be able to see better." She was happy with that answer.  Braxton did very well and shot down all 3 targets.  The kids had so much fun and Marshall loves to look at the pictures, and wants to go again.  And yes, Wes did convince me to shoot all the guns, and yes I am a wimp (thanks Jodi) and came home with a bruise on my shoulder.  To my pride, I am on aspirin so I blame the bruise on that not how wimpy I am :)

Omaha Zoo

If you ask most anyone from Nebraska what we should go and do they say the zoo.  So when we went to Omaha we went to the zoo.  The kids had a lot of fun, but honestly I think they would have loved swimming more, but we still had a good time.  The baby giraff was one of Katie's favorite and Braaxton loved the fish and the baby gorilla playing with his mom.  We also all loved the aquarium inside of the zoo and spent the most time there.  Glad we could all get away, even if it was just for 2 days.
