really creepy guy in the middle of the trading post.

Here are some of things we were able to do on Braxton's 7th birthday. He was so excited and has been counting down for a long time (about July). Of course he first wanted to open presents, he got a helicopter, a dragon, a sword (that Wes uses to beat the kids and I :), and a hotwheels toy. We wanted to get him something big like a fourwheeler but in NE there aren't alot of places to go, so we decided to go with small things that would fit in an apartment and save that for another time. Next we went to the Trading Post of Buffalo Bill. The kids loved to look around and see all the neat things. Most of things are outside (the wagon, buffalom horse and all of that.) Inside it is mostly a place kids can spend your money, oh and the creepy guy Katie wanted to touch to make sure he wasn't real. Braxton was able to buy a cap gun (thank you Grandma Myra for the money) and he saved the rest of his money. He was also able to buy a remote control truck (thank you Grandma Karen). He was so excited to buy his own things and still have money left over. Then we were going to go to Cody Go-Karts and go miniture golfing and go-karts. When we got there they were closed, so I called just to find out what the hours were. Instead she said they would pull them out for us to drive. It was alot of fun just the four of us driving on the track (and for the record the girls beat the boys, we passed them 2 times, better driver than Wes!!) and the nice lady who opened the go-karts watched Marshall for us. Then we went and had pizza and played with all of his toys. The missionaries came over to say Happy Birthday and we all had cake and ice cream. What a fun day!! Braxton said it was the best. Thanks for all the Birthday wishes, phone calls and able to skype. Love you all!!

Marshall is going through a really fun and funny stage. Here are some moments in his life that we caught with a camera. He has always been obsessed with his blankets especially his dark blue one, but this day was different. He wouldn't let his blanket out of his sight. He was eating breakfast (cereal and a waffle, both very messy with a one year old) and kept crying and pointing. I tried to give him everything, finally found out it was his blanket. So, he proceeded to eat breakfast and get his blanket all stinky because he wouldn't let go of it. Off to the bath we go, I tried everything to make him let go. Nope, the blanket had to take a bath with him. But then it was all wet and I wouldn't let him take it around the house. He just stood by the bathroom door crying. Poor picked on child, he doesn't always get what he wants (just usually).
