those that sew, don't look close.  You will be ashamed of my sewing skills.

I am so impressed, I made both of these ties.

As you can tell I am a little obsessed with crocheting.  I absolutely love to do it and love to try new things.  This pregnancy has caused the worst Carpal Tunnel syndrome, so it has slowed me down, but I just keep going.  These are just some of my projects that I have finished that weren't boxed up yet.  If anyone has new ideas of what I can crochet let me know, I am up for a challenge.  Plus, my little guy needs to be decked out :)

1st Day of School

August 15, 2012

My kids were so excited to go to school this year.  Braxton is in 2nd grade and has so many friends, which he was so excited to go back and see them.  He is excellent at Math and English.  Last year they had 15 spelling tests and every week added 10 words to his his list.  By the end of 1st grade his spelling test was 150 words long.  I am proud to say that he got 100% on every test.  So far this year he has had 4 tests, and so far 100% again.  Great Job Braxton!!  They also have Rocket Math where they have to do so many math problems in one minute, this year he is already on N, more than halfway done and just barely 1.5 months in school.
Katie started Kindergarten and loves it.  She goes every day, all day long.  I thought it would be a lot for her, but she loves it.  She has already counted to 100, and has her capitalized and lower case letters memorized.  She has earned 2 "great job" bracelets.  She hated resst time and cannot wait until they can learn all day and not have to lay down.  She is learning so much and growing up so quick. Love you both!!

Thomas Bed...yes he is spoiled :)

As most of you know Marshall might be just a bit spoiled...ok maybe really spoiled.  He has an obsession for Thomas, so we got him a Thomas Bed.  We have been looking at these for months but didn't want to fork out the money.  I found this one at "The Bargain Bin" (nicer place than our goodwill), for only $25.00.  It looks brand knew, and these usually run about $300.  I had these sheets from when Braxton was little, and it all turned out so cute.  Marshall was so excited and played in his room for hours the first day we had it.

Sweet boy with a Broken Arm

One would have thought that a broken arm would slow a 2 year down, at least a little bit.  But nope not this guy.  He still loved to climb, jump and anything else you could think of.  In fact after he broke his arm we made sure to put the ladder up so he couldn't climb on the top bunk.  One day Marshall was being really quiet so i went to check on him.  Yep on the top bunk while the ladder was put up.  The broken arm didn't slow him down, just made him more dangerous and scare me just that much more.  Marshall LOVES baths, he could take about 3 a day and still want more, this was the harderst part about his broken arm, so we just wrapped it up every day and tried not to get it wet.

Sorry this is so late, but I am trying to catch up again, so here comes a bunch of posts :)

Cody Pool with friends

Near the end of summer we all went to Cody Pool and let our kids play for hours.  I think we stayed for about 4 hours and my kids still didn't think they got enough time there.  The older LOVE the high dive and went off of it a million times.  What great little swimmers, so much fun with good friends.
