Surprise trip to Idaho

Our kids had so much fun going to Grandma's house. We picked them up from school and headed to Idaho, they didn't even know we were going. Actually I didn't know I was going until about 3 hours before. My dad had his 60th birthday while we were there and there was a surprise party with Jeremy Buck!! (look for the next post soon). It was a quick trip due to the amount of school Braxton has missed and not wanting to go to court (which is Nebraskas new state law), so we were only able to stay a couple of days. Although, while we were there we had alot of fun. We had an Easter Egg hunt, went swimming , fed the cows, went to Oliver's birthday party, played outside the majority of the time, saw old friends, saw lots of family and went to the birthday party. Thanks to Jerermy and Michelle, Matt and Amber and Mom I was able to go.

The lake

The weather here has been amazing and we have been taking advantage of it. One day about 2 weeks about I had a bad allergy reaction. It was one of the scariest things that happened to me. I woke up at 3am to my throat swelling shut and no benadryl in the house and live in the middle of nowhere and no 24 hour Walmart. Wes and I thought it was something in the house or something I ate. The next day (after getting a shot in the butt, an oral medication and a job offer as a Nurse, not sure how that all fit in, but kind of nice offer) we decided to go for a drive. We ended up going to the Lake and letting the kids play. Too bad for them we didn't take suits, guess we will just have to go back, and of course post more pictures then.

Toddler Time

I have started taking Marshall to toddler time at Platte Valley Gymnastics. He loves to be able to just run and do whatever he wants. His favorite part are the rings. He loves for me to lift him up there and he just hold on for dear life and then starts giggling and then falls. Every week he tries to do this and he is actually getting really good and hanging on for quite sometime. Another favorite thing is to find the chalk. He loves to play in it, get his hands nice and white and then run to the bars and hold on. He also loves to try and figure out the building and see if he can take any of it apart. He is all boy!!
