Cutest date Ever...

I was able to take Katie to the Cinderella Tea Party. She was so excited that she got to go to a real Tea Party. She was able to learn a knew dance, and was even more excited when she recognized the dance in the play that night. She was also able to frost a cookie with Cinderella, play Princess, Princess, Jocker (instead of duck, duck, goose), she mad a wand and a crown, and then went to the Tea Party. After she was able to go meet all the cast and get pictures and autographs with them. Later that night we were able to go to Cinderella the musical. Her friend Brooklyn was able to go with Katie, which made it more fun so they could do everything together. I loved watching Katie and how happy and excited she got. It was such a fun day and night to spend with her. Love you Katie, and thanks Wes for letting us go.

Painting...everywhere

It all started when I was painting the princess dolls for the girls. Marshall really wanted to help and I really didn't want him to. His good daddy found him a box to paint on and I found him a truck to paint and he got started. It was going so well, he was trying so hard to just paint the truck and then this happened. Soon Marshall had paint on his belly, on his arm, on his face, and many other places. Wow, I didn't know Marshall knew how to draw so well. If you look close you can find a mustache, a person figurine and a smiley face on him. Crazy that I have watched Marshall draw on paper and many other unwanted things and I have never seen him draw anything that looks like anything. And with the smirk on his Daddy's face, I doubt he had any part in all of it.

Preschool Time

As most of you know at the beginning of the school year we decided to keep Katie home from Kindergarten an extra year. She made the deadline by only about 10 days, but just wasn't ready. The last couple of weeks she has been driving me CRAZY about going to do something fun, having a friend over or going to a friends house. Wes and i decided that for the next 2.5 months she is going to preschool with 2 of her best friends. She is so excited and ready to go. Yesterday she was able to go and meet all of her knew friends and her school. She was so funny!! She didn't have to be there until 2:15 but by 9:30 she was ready to go. She chose her outfit and what to wear, she even put on her lip gloss. Before we went to preschool I wanted to go to JCPenny's and use a coupon, well she decided to needed something new for school. After looking around for about 45 minutes she chose a skirt...and a shirt...and shoes. Let's just say she might be just slightly spoiled, but she is adorable.

Here are the pictures of her "real" first day of school. She was so excited to go, and ever more excited that she got to go with Jack.

A trip to Kearney

For Wes' birthday we were able to take a day and go to Kearney...and if anyone knows what is in Kearney he got a good birthday gift...Cabela's. He has been waiting to go for awhile, but we had to wait for a day off of school. After shopping for guns and patiently waiting for Wes we went to lunch and then the children's museum. If you have kept up on my blog you would notice that all we have in Nebraska is children's museum, (which my kids LOVE).

Marshall's dream... everything trains.

This is Katie's dream to have a play kitchen in our toy room.

or lately her favorite thing is to play Dr, (yep Dr. Beckett she still loves to watch everything and look at everything "gross" and go to every doctor appointment)

looks more like Marshall is in jail than the teller at the bank.

Braxton loves anything dirty, sports and really into science.

look what i made

So I am not the "Crafty" type of person so I was excited at how these turned out. Yes, I know they are not perfect; but I know Katie and nieces will not judge and just love

them. A friend of mine (thanks Liz) has been so good to let me borrow hers and copy them. I have 4 down and only 36 more princesses to go, and 4 purses to make. I will post more as I get them done. And just so you know these pictures don't show justice, they are much better in person :)
